We are a proud part of the Strasburg-Franklin Local School District, dedicated to providing a nurturing, high-quality educational experience for our students. Our school serves students in Pre-K through 5th Grade, focusing on academic achievement, personal growth, and developing the well-rounded individual.

Strasburg Elementary is committed to student growth and closing educational gaps.

  • Academics: Our curriculum is designed to meet state standards, focusing on foundational skills. We have shown strong performance, including exceeding state standards in academic achievement and closing educational gaps on the Ohio School Report Cards.
  • Early Literacy: We meet state standards in early literacy, ensuring our youngest students (K-3) develop essential reading proficiency and improvement skills.
  • Student-Centered Learning: With a favorable student-teacher ratio, our dedicated staff can provide personalized attention and support for every student.

  • Special Programs: We offer a Title I program, Strasburg-Franklin Little Tiger Preschool program, and provide Gifted Programs for qualifying students.

 

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parent & Community Engagement

We believe that a strong partnership between the school and home is vital for student success.

  • Involvement: We encourage parents to get involved through our Parent-Teacher Group (PTG) and by participating in cherished school events like Veterans Day program, Grand Event, Donuts with Dudes and Muffins with Moms.

  • Resources: Key information is always available, including the Elementary Student/Parent Handbook, Cafeteria News & Menus, and details on Title 1 and Military Family Support services.

  • Communication: We strive for open communication through our school calendar, news updates, and the use of digital resources and teacher websites. We use Parent Square for mass communication from the classroom, school and district. Contact the elementary office if you have questions regarding Parent Square.
